The June 2020 ETSI EMTEL Special Committee meeting was animated with the discussion of the proposals to extend the PEMEA specification brought by Deveryware, as a direct contribution of the EUROSTARS AIMES Project.
In a nutshell, AIMES ambitions to further develop the PEMEA specification with the new ESInet Shared Services, allowing PEMEA nodes to share core ESInet components and thus eliminating replication and supporting both service delivery mechanisms. Further, AIMES aims to create a novel Chat extension inspired in the chat specifications implemented as part of the EU-funded NEXES Project.
Following the formal presentation of Deveryware’s proposals, in March 2020 the ETSI EMTEL Special Committee began the work involving the following Work Items:
– DTS/EMTEL-0052: PEMEA ESInet Shared Services.
– DTS/EMTEL-0053: PEMEA Instant Message Extension.
Both themes have been extensively debated by the AIMES partners as part of the AIMES development work of the past three months, that already succeeded in the elicitation of the requirements and the design of the architecture for the AIMES System.
